Monday, October 29th 7pm, SpeakOUT Boston

Please come to the First Congregational Church in Winchester at 21 Church St. for a Transgender Awareness session on Monday October 29^th at 7 p.m. in the 2^nd floor Tucker room for a panel of speakers from SpeakOUT Boston, the nation’s oldest LGBTQIA speakers bureau, as each panel member tells their personal story.

SpeakOUT: ASK US ANYTHING

SpeakOUT encourages questions from their audiences. Their speakers are trained to solicit questions and respond to comments in an atmosphere of respect and forthrightness. They listen for underlying myths and help audiences feel at ease raising difficult issues.

Our Christian tradition teaches unconditional love, extravagant welcome, and deep compassion for the vulnerable and marginalized.  As each of us considers Massachusetts ballot question #3, that asks us whether to preserve protections for transgender people in all public accommodations, come listen to the personal experiences and stories of the transgender community to inform your head and heart.
