  • Fall Church School off to a Great Start

What a great couple of months we have had in all of our classes! In Stepping Stones, we are still learning some stories from Exodus and soon going to be starting to learn about Mary, Joseph, and Jesus. We have a great team of teachers who give up their precious time during the week and on Sunday mornings to form the faith of our youngsters.

Our Middle School class has been going great. We are learning about how we can make a difference no matter what we think! We have had about 20 middle school students each week and it has been great! This month we will have Kathleen Zagata and Christine Tresselt teaching the students the Lord’s Prayer in the form of Yoga on November 13th.

Our High School class has gotten off to a slower start but is beginning to ramp up. We have a great team of teachers who love to build relationships with the teens and help them figure out what they believe. If your high school student hasn’t plugged in to this class yet…I would highly recommend it. We meet Sunday mornings like the rest of church school.

Forum is always the highlight of many of the students’ Sunday night. They look forward to being together and trying to figure out how to solve the world’s problem and how to tackle issues that they experience in their lives. On November 5th and 6th, we will have our first High School overnight for the year. We will need a couple of adults who would be willing to spend the night (or do shifts).
